Police raid more Boiler Rooms on the Gold Coast

There’s been a large raid carried out today by Qld CCC on a group of alleged fradusters known as the Irish Boys. Four people have been arrested.

ABC TV News Qld

From the official CCC press release we have this snippet:
“The Queensland Police Service is committed to identifying those criminal groups who seek to target and defraud members of our community.

“It is concerning to us to think these groups are operating in Queensland, however in cooperation with our law enforcement and industry stakeholders we will seek out these syndicates and shut them down,” Acting Assistant Commissioner Cameron Harsley said.

“Our message is clear, if you set up one of these operations in Queensland, we will be on your doorstep and will dismantle your operation.”

And this story on ABC News this evening – Commission of Inquiry summons to Qld police over inaction over scams http://www.abc.net.au/news/2015-09-07/inquiry-findings-on-alleged-failures-by-queensland-police/6751260

Now is the time to write to your local MP and the Qld Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk and ask what the gov is going to do about this? Can’t believe this has hardly made the news when cops could have acted years ago to round up these scammers. Has to be police corruption/cover up. Unless public makes noise this will disappear under the carpet again. These guys will just keep ripping off ordinary people who can’t afford it.

Bit more info and the scams they were targeting.
These guys were named on this site previously.

There is a LOT more to come regarding these Organised Crime Figures involving 20 or so serious scams over nearly a decade and a long list of known associates (mostly Irish) in Australia and overseas.
The fraud squad just allowed several of them to leave the country after we warned them they were going into hiding. Luckily we know where they are so when the police get warrants they can contact. Took them several years to act on this information.
